Like all other pediatric nurses, there are patients whose stories have remained etched on my heart since having the privilege to care for them. One family I often think of faced endless challenges – they had a sweet, medically complicated little girl, another child battling mental health concerns, and both parents desperately trying to find housing stability for their family. Even things that should have been easy felt insurmountable, and as the little girl’s nurse, I felt like my hands were tied not being able to help get to the root of their struggles because I did not have the time or resources to give them.

I joined Nest because I believe there is a different way. Helping the entire family entirely will only improve the health of everyone. By allowing our clinicians the time and tools to do this, we will see dramatic improvement in the lives of our families. I am deeply passionate about helping to get every child access to high-quality healthcare no matter their condition, living situation, or background. As a pediatric nurse and mom, this is both a professional and personal passion that I am committed to addressing through my career. I’m so happy to bring my clinical and operational experience to Nest and for our incredible care team to transform the lives of our Nest families.
